Keyboard Portuguese Music in 3D

Harpsichordist Mafalda Nejmeddine will present a lecture-concert dedicated to the interpretation of keyboard works by three prominent 18th-century Portuguese composers, offering a historical, stylistic, and musical journey through the Portuguese repertoire of the period. The event combines musicological commentary and musical performance, allowing the audience to engage with both the historical context and the interpretative specificities of the harpsichord, a fundamental instrument of European music of the time. This initiative is part of the “Portuguese Keyboard Music in 3D” project, which reaffirms its commitment to the dissemination of Portuguese musical heritage and historically informed performance.

A cravista Mafalda Nejmeddine realizará uma conferência-concerto dedicada à interpretação da obra para tecla de três destacados compositores portugueses do século XVIII, propondo um percurso histórico, estilístico e musical pelo repertório portuguêsda época. O evento alia comentários musicológicos e execução musical, permitindo ao público aproximar-se tanto do contexto histórico como das especificidades interpretativas do cravo, instrumento fundamental da música europeia da época. Esta iniciativa é realizada no âmbito do projeto “Música de Tecla Portuguesa em 3D” que reafirma o seu compromisso com a divulgação do património musical português e com a interpretação historicamente informada.
